[ Skills ] Despite not being the largest player, Vane excels at outside shooting and has a high accuracy rate for shots at any distance, giving him a strong offense. However he lacks passing skills, which are essential to being a great shooting guard. His arrogance makes him reluctant to work with his teammates and he usually ends up single-mindedly trying to hog the ball and score points. He usually stays on the outside of the court, trying to find an opportunity to score.

[ Personality ]
- Arrogant and Rude: With girls and guys fawning over him incessantly, he's incredibly arrogant and prideful. He absolutely cannot admit he has any flaws and refuses to listen to criticism, constructive or otherwise.
- Stubborn and Prideful: Don't try to win an argument with him. Just don't. He's incredibly insecure on the inside and tries to mask this with excessive pride.
- Spoiled and Demanding: He grew up wealthy, and is used to getting what he wants. He doesn't make requests; he makes demands.
- Ruthless and Competitive: His personal motto in basketball is 'Winning is everything.' He doesn't care what he or his team members have to do to ensure victory.
- Irritable: He has a very short temper and yells at other people often; he makes A LOT of enemies this way...
- Frivolous: Vane would never declare loyalty to anything. He only ever does anything because he "feels like it". Same with people. Well, at least he pretends not to care when people leave him.

[ Talents ]
He's a decent street fighter, and his athleticism helps him in certain sports, though he really doesn't try to play anything other than basketball. Other than that, he's average at pretty much everything.

[ History ]
Vane is only a quarter Japanese; his mother is half-Japanese and half-French, and his father is British. However they are both Japanese citizens, and Vane himself was born and raised in Japan, so he considers himself Japanese. It irritates him to no end when people call him a foreigner. His parents are the owners of the largest foreign car company in Japan, and are noveau rich people who love to flaunt their money. Vane himself, though growing up spoiled and wealthy, hated the pressure his parents gave him to excel. They wanted him to become successful and eventually move back to Europe, and settle down with a European wife, preferably one from a rich family. To their dismay he never lived up to their expectations; he always fell short of being the best.

That was when his parents diverted their attentions to Vane's younger brother, Vic, who strived to become the son the they always wanted. Hit with an identity crisis and a feeling of being abandoned, Vane went through a rebellious phase of gangs and brawls. But he found his calling when, as a joke, he challenged some punks to a game of basketball. He discovered he had a talent for it, and he realized finally found something he loved; not something his parents pushed him into. By devoting his energy to basketball, he left the violence of his past behind and found himself.

Still, old habits die hard. He still tries too hard to win and be the best because of his parents' influence, sometimes losing sight of why he plays basketball. He also never truly forgot the shady techniques of the streets; he sometimes uses underhanded methods in games and never trusts anyone, even his own teammates.

[ Trivia ]
- He is naturally on the thin side, so people often see him as a fragile prince with dainty features. He tries hard to buff himself up. At first glance people think he's soft-spoken and gentle...unfortunately he's quite the opposite.
- Despite looking European, his only fluent language is Japanese. He learns foreign languages with his classmates and aren't any better than they are.
- He likes punk clothing (e.g. dark hoodies, skinny jeans, baggy pants, combat boots). He thinks it makes him look more intimidating.
